    Coaches in Transition: becoming the coach you don’t yet know you could be

    The Association for Coaching is delighted to invite you to attend this webinar with coaching and mentoring pioneer David Clutterbuck, due to take place on March 28th, 2019.

    It’s very easy for coaches to become trapped into “cosy coaching” — routines and rituals that satisfy the client, but do not provide the stretch to stimulate significant and continuing professional growth. Observation of hundreds of coaches in an assessment center or development center environment has revealed four mind-frames that represent increasing levels of coach maturity.

    In this webinar, you will:

    • Explore each of these mind-sets/frames in turn and what the transition from one to the next entails;
    • Discuss some of the challenges that result from a mismatch between the coach’s level of maturity and the needs of the client;
    • Learn practical ways of achieving higher levels of coach maturity, within a clear personal Coach Development Plan.

    Host Michael Mellen

    After a winter hiatus, CoachCafe Manhattan is back in early May with one of our favorite hosts, Michael Mellen. Sip on your Starbucks, enjoy the view of the river and meet new and old CoachCafe friends before the program starts.

    The big Why of CoachCafe is to create small communities of coaches focused on peer learning to help grow our business.

    As an example, during the 90-minute format, coaches might discuss aspirations for their business, what they need help with, and how they could help the group. In our experience, every person walks away learning something new, based on the experience of their peers.
