CoachCafe: Coaching for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a monthly peer-led forum where ICF NYC members with a focus on ADHD coaching or interest in learning about this niche can exchange insights from each other in support of their coaching work.  Whether you're just beginning to work with neurodivergent clients, or have been doing so for some time, this space is designed to be supportive, allowing for questions and sharing thought leadership.

Our meetings are held from 12-1 pm EST on the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of each month.  Upon registering, the Zoom link will be automatically emailed to you.

Typical Agenda:

  • Introduction of new members and sharing of wins (10-15 minutes)

  • Discussion on the main topic (25 minutes)

  • Workshopping client issues and sharing relevant resources (20-25 minutes)

CoachCafes are member-hosted monthly meetings for the purpose of community building and networking for ICF NYC members.  These are opportunities for members to share with and learn from one another in support of professional growth.

The information discussed, provided and shared by the Coaching For ADHD CoachCafe is for informational and educational purposes only. This is not a forum to seek medical advice and attendees are reminded of the importance of respecting the boundaries between coaching and therapy or mental health counseling, and for making referrals to qualified professional experts where appropriate or seeking their guidance. Facilitators:

Minal Kamlani (ACC, TICC, BS Business) is a mindful growth coach specializing in transformational coaching and inclusive leadership. As an ICF NYC Professional Development Committee member, she focuses on trauma-informed coaching and DEIJB initiatives such as neurodiversity. Her training is through Co-Active, Moving the Human Spirit, JST, and Stanford Medical School. Minal’s background as a woman of color in the LGBTQ+ community, comprehensive coach training, and empathetic approach provide an emotionally safe space for individuals facing challenges in their relationships, workplaces, and communities.

Adam Griffin (ACC, MA) caught the coaching bug while working with his own coach. Shortly thereafter, he completed Ontological Coaching training at Coacharya in India. His years of acting training, performing both as an actor and a musician, and his meditation practice all enhance his deep listening skills. Adam is particularly interested in executive functioning coaching for clients with ADHD traits. He also leads the ICF NYC ADHD Group on WhatsApp. For an invitation, please contact him at adam@atomic-gryphon.com.
