ABOUT THE EVENT

1 TBD

Learn how to prepare yourself and your group/team coaching participants for a deeper, more vulnerable coaching experience.

Karen will help us define and unpack psychological safety, and she’ll share frameworks to support you in creating it with your members. You’ll be able to use these ideas as a foundation for designing group coaching activities and to explore sensitive topics safely and bravely with your clients.

Purpose: To equip group and team coaches with the tools to explore sensitive topics.

Learning Objectives:

Create a safe and brave environment for your group coaching programs

Utilize frameworks to support your understanding of psychological safety

Why this topic is a Need to Know:

Psychological safety is a key variable of success for teams and groups and is just as important as trust is a 1:1 coaching relationship. It allows each participant to feel present to the experience and to contribute fully.

As a group / team coach, being equipped to deal with ambiguous, difficult or subtle everyday aggressions is not a luxury. It’s a necessity.

The space that the coach and the group co-create stems from a feeling of trust towards the coach’s ability to guide the process, and to respond to any and all situations.
