Treasurer - ICF NYC Chapter

treasurer@icfnycchapter.org

“I am pleased to take on the role of Treasurer of the ICF NYC chapter. Leading Breakfast & a Book Club for the past 2 years allowed me to get to know a wide range of members. As an analytical introvert who also loves connecting deeply with people, serving as Treasurer is a natural fit; and I have experience as my co-op board’s current Treasurer. I look forward to supporting ICF members and the board to keep the organization in good financial health while delivering on the chapter’s goals.”

A former scientist & management consultant, I bring an open, honest and direct approach from my international experience consulting and coaching diverse clients across all industries my company, Access to Opportunity Consulting, LLC, a M/WBE-certified business. My diverse background and professional experience have led me on an exhilarating journey that has brought me to call myself a coach and to call Jackson Heights, New York my home.

I am Indian-American and grew up in rural Kansas. I am a PhD chemist who coaches high IQ leaders with head and heart. I coach, facilitate and teach in the private sector, the federal government and in graduate schools of public administration and business. My clients include senior executives in pharma and high-tech, federal government directors, and underrepresented individuals. I believe that everyone deserves access to education, and I live this value as an Adjunct Professor in the New York University Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service; an Adjunct Instructor with iCoachGlobal, an ICF-accredited executive coaching program; and an instructor for the NIH’s Executive Leadership Program.

I use strategic thinking, relationship-building, and a structured approach to problem-solving to help my clients pilot new approaches to their leadership mindset and behaviors. My superpower is being a straight shooter with deep empathy. I am a certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation at the ACC level and completed coaching training with iCoachGlobal. Other certifications include MBTI, EQ-i 2.0 / EQ-360, and The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP). I have completed degrees in chemistry from Yale University (BS), the University of Melbourne (MSc), and the University of Georgia (PhD) and an MPA from the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. I am training to be a mindfulness teacher with the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) led by Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield.
