VIRTUAL: Adult Development Approaches to Coaching in the Era of AI & Hybrid Intelligence

This event is an opportunity to extend the conversation from the 5th International Columbia Coaching Conference (October 14 – 16, 2025) and an opportunity to honor and celebrate the life of our beloved colleague Margaret McLean Walsh. This year’s conference theme, High-Impact Coaching in the Era of Hybrid Intelligence, is a current and relevant topic for those who will thrive in the emerging context and beyond. This program will feature 2 topics: (1) An Exploration of Adult Development Driven Coaching Frameworks and Implications for Hybrid Intelligence and (2) highlights from the recipients of the first Margaret McLean Walsh – Outstanding Experiential Learning Session Award, entitled Robots in the Room: Ethics, AI, and the Coach—a fitting tribute to celebrate the life of our beloved collogue Maragret how meant so much to the 3CP and ICF NYC Chapter, coaching communities.
The year’s event will feature speakers Dr. Terrence E. Maltbia, Dr. Dana Kirchman, and Wendy Myers Cambor.

Dr. Terrence E. Maltbia

Dr. Terrence E. Maltbia, Professor of Practice in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he also serves as Faculty Director of the Columbia Coaching Certification Program (3CP). Since its 2007 launch, 3CP has credentialed over 900 executive and organizational coaches from more than 40 countries. His areas of expertise include strategic learning, leadership and organizational development, executive coaching, and cultural intelligence. A recognized practitioner-scholar, Dr. Maltbia received the Malcolm Knowles Dissertation of the Year and AHRD’s Cutting Edge Award. He has also earned AIIR Consulting’s Coaching Leadership Award and Henley Business School’s Outstanding Contribution to Coaching Award. He was named among Thinkers50 | Marshall Goldsmith’s Top Global Coaches. He will be joined by the 2025 recipients of the Margaret McLean Walsh – Outstanding Experiential Learning Session Award.
Dr. Dana Kirchman

Dr. Dana Kirchman, Ed.D., J.D., PCC, is a leadership expert and executive coach with over 25 years of experience. She leads an evidence-based executive and team coaching practice grounded in relational intelligence. At Columbia University, Dr. Kirchman teaches in the 3CP Coaching Certification Program. She is a senior advisor at McKinsey & Company. Dana holds a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Yale. Dana integrates practical coaching with a deep understanding of organizational culture to create healthy workplaces and catalyze change.
Wendy Myers Cambor

Wendy Myers Cambor, founded New Lane, a leadership coaching and consulting firm committed to reimagining work to improve how we live. She helps leaders and teams clarify goals, navigate transitions, and take action. Wendy coaches emerging, established, and transitioning leaders to think critically, communicate effectively, and lead purposefully – delivering results, innovation, and impact. With 30+ years advising C-suite executives, she held leadership roles at Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, and Accenture. Wendy trained at Columbia, Wharton, and Union Theological Seminary and is an Elder of the Collegiate Church of New York. Wendy holds a BS in Engineering from Cornell University.

Event will be recorded. This event is highly interactive As an attendee, you are expected to participate fully and support your colleagues in breakout rooms actively practicing the skills and providing feedback in support of growth. Please register only if you plan to attend and actively participate. Tickets are not refundable in accordance with our event policies.
Any form of recording NOT initiated by the host (including but not limited to video, audio, or chat recording, including transcription) is not permissible. The meeting host reserves the right to remove any participant (person or technology) that fails to comply with the policy. Accordingly, it is the responsibility of every participant to know what technologies (including zoom and browser plugins) that they have installed on their device and if they have the potential to violate this policy.
CCEU Issuance:
CCEUs will be sent within 7 – 10 business days to all attendees who participate in most of the event.
CCEU eligibility and issuance
In accordance with ICF guidance, in order to receive CCEUs for ICF NYC events, you must attend a minimum of 80% of the event whether virtual or in-person.
CCEU certificates are not awarded for attending less than the 80% threshold or for watching recordings.
