The Event
Each January, ICF NYC hosts a Kickoff event to get to know our members both new and existing, and to invite your input and active engagement in the coming year. ICF NYC members will have an opportunity to:
- Meet the new Chapter’s Board of Directors
- Get a sneak preview of our 2026 activities plans
- Learn from each committee about their priorities for the new year and how chapter members can get involved
This is also an opportunity for members to share ideas and development priorities for the coming year.
Involvement in the local chapter is one of the best ways to build professional relationships, give back to the community, create new connections, take advantage of all the professional and personal development options the Chapter offers, and let new opportunities flourish.
ICF NYC Recording Policy
ICF NYC Virtual Event Notice:
ICF NYC meetings are rarely recorded and when they are, they are only recorded with both disclosure by the host and acceptance by participants. All other events, by default, are confidential.
Any form of recording NOT initiated by the host (including but not limited to video, audio, or chat recording, including transcription) is not permissible. The meeting host reserves the right to remove any participant (person or technology) that fails to comply with the policy. Accordingly, it is the responsibility of every participant to know what technologies (including zoom and browser plugins) that they have installed on their device and if they have the potential to violate this policy.
AI transcription requests will be rejected and any user found to be using an AI bot will be removed from the event.

Julien is an ICF Professional Certified Coach with a focus on resilience, strengths and transition with a passion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. He loves supporting his clients to achieve their personal and professional goals with proven tools and methodologies so they can grow from good to great. He works with individuals and organizations to support them in accelerating their performance, in becoming strong & resilient leaders, and in harnessing their energizing strengths to reach their goals.
Julien’s coaching style is warm, creative, innovative, and expanding horizons while creating an environment of accountability, trust and actionable results. He has successfully helped and partnered with high potentials through to senior leaders and executives in periods of transition and change allowing them to gain greater confidence, build impactful influencing skills, and create inclusive environments.
Julien is a certified practitioner of numerous assessments and methodologies, including DISC, MBTI, Strengths Profile and EQi 2.0 & EQi 360. He works in diverse industries, including financial services, technology, manufacturing, media, retail, transportation and government. Clients range in size from small, growing entrepreneurial firms to large, well-established multinational organizations.
Julien currently serves as the Director of Education of the Diversity for Performance Professional Coach Training Certification and is a member of ICF NYC Membership and a volunteer for the non-profit Coaching For Everyone.
