Coaching the Divided Self

Internal conflicts are a common human experience. They are often either the reason for a client seeking coaching, or as the client grows, they may appear as energies/ideas of their evolution. When coaches understand the foundations of how the Divided Self appears in themselves, and how to facilitate from deeper awareness, they can show up in the world for their clients as a whole expression of themselves, sitting with even more intentional presence.

Daniel Olexa is a globally recognized leadership development facilitator with over 30 years of experience helping leaders and teams create purpose-driven, high-performing cultures. He empowers organizations to unlock clarity, resilience, and sustainable success by transforming how leaders think, communicate, and collaborate.

He has taught more than 3,500 individuals around the world to become coaches, and has guided more than 120 mentees to achieve their ICF credential with a 100% record of success.

In 2023, Daniel earned the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential—held by only 4% of ICF credentialed coaches worldwide. He is the co-founder of the Mindful Coaching eXcellence Institute (MCXI), a professional development organization dedicated to raising the bar for coaching leadership worldwide.

Daniel is a Certified DiSC Practitioner and LPI Trained Coach who believes that extraordinary people do extraordinary things—and his mission is to help them (re)awaken to that truth.

ICF NYC Recording Policy:
Event will be recorded. This event is highly interactive and will be recorded. As an attendee, you are expected to participate fully and support your colleagues in breakout rooms actively practicing the skills and providing feedback in support of growth. Please register only if you plan to attend and actively participate. Tickets are not refundable in accordance with our event policies.
Any form of recording NOT initiated by the host (including but not limited to video, audio, or chat recording, including transcription) is not permissible. The meeting host reserves the right to remove any participant (person or technology) that fails to comply with the policy. Accordingly, it is the responsibility of every participant to know what technologies (including zoom and browser plugins) that they have installed on their device and if they have the potential to violate this policy.
CCEU Issuance:
CCEUs will be sent within 7 – 10 business days to all attendees who participate in most of the event.
CCEU eligibility and issuance
In accordance with ICF guidance, in order to receive CCEUs for ICF NYC events, you must attend a minimum of 80% of the event whether virtual or in-person.
CCEU certificates are not awarded for attending less than the 80% threshold or for watching recordings.
