Drawing on her background in leadership at organizations like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and WeWork, Vanessa brings a sharp understanding of complex team dynamics and high-performance environments. She has led large-scale employee engagement initiatives and coached leaders at companies including Amazon, PWC, Shopify, Etsy, and VMware.
Vanessa’s coaching style is warm, focused, and insight-driven. She is known for building trust quickly and creating a reflective, judgment-free environment where clients can explore mindset shifts, practice new behaviors, and drive toward meaningful, measurable goals. She integrates tools like 360 feedback, EQ-i 2.0, and values-based frameworks to support holistic development.
In addition to her coaching practice, Vanessa serves as Director of Student Experience at Authentic Leadership Advisors Academy, an ICF-accredited coach training program, and is a Mentor Coach and credential assessor. She also co-hosts The Competency Co-Lab, a monthly ICF NYC Chapter learning series supporting coaches in deepening their skills and self-awareness.
Outside of work, Vanessa is a former event strategist turned community-builder and a lifelong lover of great questions. She splits her time between Chapel Hill and Brooklyn.
