Bio: Passion Rooted in Experience
As a certified coach, I bring over 20 years of experience helping people across industries, cultures, and career stages. My passion for coaching comes from lived experience: I know what it’s like to feel held back by the belief that introversion was something I needed to overcome.

Humble Beginnings to New Horizons
I’m the proud son of Colombian schoolteachers who immigrated to the U.S. I grew up seeing how learning and persistence can open doors. My early career was in science and quality, where I spent 15 years as an individual contributor.

Introvert Advantage
As an introvert, I once saw my quiet nature as a limitation, but over time, it became my advantage: a way to listen deeply, build trust, and lead with empathy. I was discovering that my introverted personality traits could be superpowers.
Building Capability Through Growth & Leadership
My path into leadership was intentional. Like many introverts. I grew by reflecting deeply, thinking strategically, and taking purposeful action, such as:

PMP & PgMP certs to strengthen my ability to lead complex initiatives.
MBA to broaden my business and strategic mindset.
Mentor junior colleagues as my interest in developing others grew.
Led job rotations so I could lead people and build my leadership capability through real experience.

Clarity Through Coaching
Even with all that growth, I felt my progress slowing. The next step was in sight, but out of reach on my own. I had the drive, but not the clarity.

That’s when I realized something essential:

The biggest leaps don’t come from working harder; they come from being coachable.

I turned to paid coaching because I needed a thinking partner. Group coaching helped me align daily actions with big-picture goals, sharpen my leadership presence, and gain clarity to pivot my career.

Today, I work with my coach to grow my coaching business and deepen confidence in my coaching skills.
