Coaching, as an evidenced based intervention, is gaining wider application within organizations in the support of leaders, groups and teams to meet the complex and rapidly evolving challenges of this age. However, much of the research supporting coaching as an intervention, has focused largely on individualistic approaches and outcomes – seriously limiting its application with complex context.
Join us for a thought provoking, interactive session where Dr. Sean O’Connor will challenge some of the assumptions of coaching, providing practical approaches to leveraging the system itself to support change initiatives of all kinds. Through taking a systems perspective on change, participants can start to identify ways to engage stakeholders, use feedback, measurement and other organizational processes, to support the success of coaching and other change initiatives.
- Understand the fundamentals of Stakeholder Engagement for coaching success.
- Use Systems Thinking to contextualize change expectation – maximizing outcomes.
- Explore feedback and measurement as supportive intervention design components.
- Learn how to leverage the organizational network of “connectivity and interaction” to maximize the impact of change.
