Message from the President
Summer is over and we look forward to some wonderful programs over the next several months. We began September with an informative, interactive presentation on coaching with Somatics by Lillian Coury. We continue, mostly through word of mouth, to attract many new faces to our Chapter. Almost 30% of those who came last month had not been to a meeting before. Luckily we selected a new, larger space last year. It may be a good thing that Madison Square is nearby. You never know!

The ICF National conference in Montreal is coming up November 12, 2008. It's a great opportunity to listen to industry leaders, learn new skills, obtain new insights and mingle with others in your profession. Many of our Board members will be attending. We will be on the look-out for great speakers for our chapter next year. On behalf of our chapter, I have been asked to speak at the Leaders conference to explain how we have become the fastest growing chapter in the world. In addition, representing New York, I was asked to join a panel to decide this year's Prism award winner, the first time ever a chapter leader has been asked to participate. We chose the winner last night from a group of amazing world-wide companies. Hoping to see many of you there!

In October, we have Arlene Rosenberg whose topic is, Say It, See It, Be It: Creating Sustainable Business Success. See the full announcement below for more information and to register. Also, be sure to mark your calendar for our next regular meeting on November 19, 2008, where we are assembling a panel of successful coaches to talk about their road to success, hear about best practices, and take questions from the audience.

And finally, you all should have received an email message from ICF asking for our help with their Global Coaching Client Online Survey. Our chapter has been very active in this process, having helped put together the NYC focus group this past spring. Please follow their guidance and involve your clients in this survey.

ICF-NYC Monthly Meeting
