Message from the President
Like fresh buds in my garden, new ideas blossomed at our Town Hall meeting in January - ideas to help achieve our twin goals of community outreach and developing more successful coaching practices.
While fostering positive, productive and enduring relationships amongst our members, we want you to feel you are part of a local community and a global movement. The Board is currently reviewing your many suggestions. We have already approved several community outreach programs, such as participating in upcoming career fairs sponsored by CUNY Technical College, the Village Chelsea LGBT and the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE). Please drop me a line if you have an interest in participating.
We have a tremendous line-up of professional development presenters coming up this year. Katherine L. Poehnert, a partner and Chief Learning Officer in OPPELLE, a membership organization providing Peer Advisory Boards for highly successful women CEOs, wowed our membership in February with a dynamic workshop on how to create a fantastic and memorable presentation. This month we have a special treat – Ira Dressner, founder and first President of ICF-NYC. His Tibetan Bowls workshop won raves at the ICF Conference last year and he will be sharing that experience with our members. In April we will be learning the amazingly successful and easy U-Based Sales Process with Neo-Sage Founder Larry Sharpe. Also we are lining up special workshops in addition to our regular monthly meetings. Keep an eye out for information in our Newsletter and our website at www.icfnycchapter.org.
