Join the Party!
This month marks the 10th anniversary of our chapter's existence - ten years and going strong. Come celebrate the occasion with us at our July 15, 2009 meeting. In addition to learning how to become a Masterful Coach with Tracy L. Stevens (see below), there will be party snacks and raffles for those attending. You are the reason that ICF-NYC exists, and you should definitely be a part of the festivities. Register early! The last party we had was our open house in January 2008, and the event sold out quickly.

And we're making sure you are hooked up! We got a taste of LinkedIn at our June Meeting with Donna Sweidan. Now here's an opportunity to learn more about the broader realm of Social Networking. Our July 11, 2009 workshop with Scott Holt and Janice Wright will include Facebook, MySpace, pay per click, web article marketing, blogs, newsletters, and a host of other avenues to use for your personal and business profile. See details below.

And there's even more: Social Networking is hot! On Wednesday July 8, 2009 ICF Global is hosting the first in a series of business development teleclasses entitled The Power of Using Social Media to Market Your Coaching Practice. Christine Gallagher, an online and social media marketing trainer and consultant, will be the facilitator. This is a great example of the benefits of ICF membership because this event is only available to ICF members. See below for more information on this event and how to participate on the call.

We take a break for the summer in August. The next meeting after July will take place on September 16, 2009. Have a wonderful summer and let's hope for an improved economic picture heading into the fall!
