Message from the President
Your chapter, the largest urban chapter in the world, has been growing by leaps and bounds. Other chapters have been contacting us to find out what the secret is. In fact, I was just asked to present at the ICF National Conference in Montreal on November 13, 2008 and discuss just that. It’s actually very simple. We listen to our members and deliver what they want. This year has seen a focus on presenters to help businesses grow. For our members, coaching is not a hobby. It is a business. The more we are able to reach out to new clients, the more people we are helping and making a difference in their lives.
We had a record turnout for C.J Hayden’s Get Client’s Now presentation. A poll of our audience showed almost half were first-time visitors to one of our chapter meetings. The energy in the room was fantastic. For those “seasoned” coaches that haven’t attended a meeting in awhile, consider rethinking the reasons for not coming, and I guarantee you will add to your business with great ideas from our presenters.
We are very excited about Caterina Rando, MCC, visiting us on August 6, 2008. We normally don't have an August meeting, but when we learned that Caterina would be in town, we jumped at the opportunity to have her address our members. Her topic, Innovate, Initiate, Accelerate: How to Consistently Attract New Clients with Ease, is sure to bring out members that aren’t away on vacation. Please register for this event below, which we promise will have lots of take-aways to help you get more clients!
